Nicaragua has fantastic coffee. Likely the best of Central America. Quite a few years ago, the coffee market crashed (when Vietnam entered the market), and Nica adjusted to this by upgrading their product. Most of what they produce is organic and specialty. Granted, most all farming in Nica is organic since they use organic fertilizers as a matter of necessity and cannot afford the use of pesticides.
